CAOHC can help announce your achievement after you have completed the COHC training and certification process. The following is an example of an announcement that can be emailed or sent out for publishing online or in local and business newspapers, professional newsletters, magazines, or anywhere readers could benefit from learning of your COHC certification.

The Council for Accreditation in Occupational Hearing Conservation (CAOHC) is pleased to announce that (insert name) has successfully completed a CAOHC-approved course to become a Certified Occupational Hearing Conservationist (COHC). With this training and accreditation, (insert name and credentials) has joined other COHCs throughout the world who are trained in administering best practices in hearing conservation. The training ensures that (insert name) has gained the skills to fulfill program requirements including being able to administer audiometric testing, related equipment calibration and record keeping.  (Insert name) is certified to provide training as part of a Hearing Conservation Program.  (Insert name) is also versed in federal and state regulations regarding hearing-related programs as well as being able to train others in the use of hearing protection devices.  

This training and certification is administered by CAOHC (www.caohc.org), a non-profit organization whose mission is “to advance best practice in occupational hearing conservation worldwide,through credentialing, standards, education, & advocacy.” The Council for Accreditation in Occupational Hearing Conservation (CAOHC) is dedicated to the establishment and maintenance of training standards for those who safeguard hearing in the workplace.
